Platform Policies

How EventsCitta reviews organizers and events, releases funds, and handles postponements, cancellations, and your data — in plain terms.

Effective 1 August 2026
01

Event Organizer Registration Approval

Event Organizer registration requests are subject to review. EventsCitta system administrators have the right to:

  • Approve organizer registration requests
  • Reject registration requests
  • Request additional verification information
  • Suspend organizer accounts when required

Approval does not mean EventsCitta endorses or guarantees the organizer or their events.

02

Event Review and Publication

All events submitted by Event Organizers may be reviewed before publication. EventsCitta administrators have the right to:

  • Approve events
  • Reject events
  • Delay publication
  • Remove published events
  • Restrict event visibility

Events may be rejected if they violate laws, contain misleading information, create unacceptable risks, or violate EventsCitta policies.

03

Event Risk Assessment

EventsCitta evaluates event risks before and during event availability. Risk evaluation may consider:

  • Event category
  • Expected attendance
  • Venue information
  • Organizer history
  • Safety concerns
  • Legal requirements
  • Previous complaints

Based on risk evaluation, EventsCitta may apply additional verification or payment controls.

04

Ticket Revenue Release

Ticket revenue is normally released to the Event Organizer approximately two (2) to three (3) hours before the scheduled event start time.

The release process may depend on:

  • Event verification
  • Risk assessment
  • Payment status
  • Security checks
05

Early Payment Release Requests

An Event Organizer may request earlier release of funds. Requests must be submitted through:

  • High-priority support tickets, or
  • Direct official communication with EventsCitta

EventsCitta may approve early release depending on event risk level, organizer history, ticket sales status, and operational circumstances.

EventsCitta has full discretion
06

Event Postponement

If an event date changes, the Event Organizer must immediately notify EventsCitta, either by contacting EventsCitta directly or by opening a high-priority support ticket.

The organizer must provide:

  • Reason for postponement
  • New event date
  • Updated event details
  • Communication plan for ticket holders

EventsCitta may temporarily pause ticket operations until review is completed.

07

Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled, the Event Organizer must immediately notify EventsCitta. EventsCitta may suspend related transactions, and refund procedures may be initiated according to applicable laws and organizer obligations.

The Event Organizer has no right to request or withdraw held funds related to a cancelled event. EventsCitta may use available funds for:

  • Ticket refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Customer claims
  • Legal obligations
  • Payment disputes
08

EventsCitta respects user and organizer privacy. EventsCitta does not sell Event Organizer data, rent personal information, or provide organizer information to third parties for commercial purposes.

Organizer data is used only for:
